LIGHTBULB MOMENT
The idea came at a time when I was suffering and in pain. I was 39 when I had my daughter Anna. I had a difficult pregnancy. I suffer from endometriosis and had always been told I’d never be able to have a child, but being an older mother brought can be harder physically. From when I was 3 months pregnant with her, I suffered with sciatica down both of my sides. This meant no sleep and took its toll on me after Anna was born – I was left with chronic back and shoulder pain for 2 years.

I came up with the idea when Anna had a tummy bug. That day, I had to change her nappy 4 times in the space of an hour. This meant I had to remove all of her clothes each time, just to change her vest, when only the bottom part was wet. This was stressful on Anna too because she was sick and lethargic. That led me to search online for a solution. When I didn’t find one, that was my lightbulb moment – a two-part baby vest that could help all parents.
